Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that twenty five percent quota is being allocated for youth in upcoming local bodies' elections in the state.
Addressing a Seminar titled Social and Political Opportunities for Youth in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday he said tangible measures are being taken to encourage youth to play their role in mainstream politics.
He said AJK government is working on a comprehensive Youth Policy in consultation with the youth besides lifting ban on the Students Unions.
Raja Farooq Haider urged the Kashmiri youth to play their effective role in highlighting the Kashmir issue in its true perspective through social media.
