Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah says the annual budget of Sindh for next financial year 2017-18 has the volume of more than 1 trillion rupees.
Addressing the post budget press conference in Karachi on Tuesday, he said amount for development works has been kept at 344 billion rupees which is 34 per cent of the total budget.
The Chief Minister said top most priority has been given to education with 202 billion rupees allocated for it which is 20 percent of the budget.
He said next priority is the health sector that has allocation of 103 billion rupees.
The Chief Minister informed that Law and Order allocation has been increased 10 percent with allocation of more than 92 billion rupees.
