GCC chief condemns terrorist attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani condemned Sunday's Houthi attack on Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia, killing one resident and wounding several civilians.

In a press statement on Monday, Al-Zayani described the attack as a cowardly terrorist crime violating international laws and conventions, and seriously endangering the lives of civilians.

The GCC chief called on the international community to condemn the Houthi militia's continued launching of rockets and drones on populated areas and civilian installations in Saudi Arabia. He conveyed his condolences to the family of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in this brutal attack.
