Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the present government is taking urgent measures to convert agriculture tubewells to solar energy soon.
He was chairing a meeting in Lahore on Friday to review implementation on Kisaan Package and solarization of agriculture tube wells throughout the country.
The Prime Minister said that solarization of agriculture tube wells will help reduce per acre cost and save precious foreign exchange by less dependence on diesel and imported fuel.
