Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says the government is working hard to strengthen the economy.

Addressing an Eid Millan dinner in Lahore, he said for this purpose, the government is focused on increasing the exports.

The Planning Minister said if the country's exports cross the 100 billion dollars target in eight to ten years, then its economy will take-off.

The Minister also stressed the need to take advantage of the power of youth in the IT sector to make Pakistan a digital country.

Referring to political situation in the country, he said it would be better to hold elections simultaneously in the entire country.
