The National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf says the Indian simplistic explanation for the intruding supersonic missile that crashed into Pakistan’s territory on March 9 as an accident is insufficient without evidence.
Responding to the Indian statement on the issue, he said only a transparent joint probe can address the many unanswered questions about this so called mistake.
He reminded India and the world that this was a highly sophisticated supersonic missile which could have caused loss of life in Pakistan and resulted in escalation between the two nuclear armed countries.
The National Security Advisor said India’s continued demonstration of lack of adequate safety and security protocols of its high end weapons systems raise serious questions that remain unanswered by India.
He said India’s indifferent and dismissive approach after the incident is even more worrisome.
