Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has directed to ensure foolproof security arrangements for the public and the foreigners.

He was chairing a meeting at Punjab Safe Cities Authority in Lahore to review the security arrangements for foreigners and measures against terrorism.

The minister said that on the directions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, all possible arrangement would be taken for the security of people. He said it was among top priorities of the government to ensure safe environment for every person including foreigners.

Rana Sanaullah Khan said comprehensive security should be provided to Chinese working on China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.

He urged all the security departments particularly Punjab police and Intelligence Bureau to work together for improving the security environment.

He directed that the PSCA should ensure monitoring and surveillance of all areas of Lahore through cameras as currently only half were being monitored.
