Jhagra lauds minorities’ role in country’s progress

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says minorities are playing important role in development of the country.

Addressing a function in Peshawar on Tuesday, he lauded the services of minorities in health and education sectors. He also condemned the recent terrorist attack on church in Quetta and one-minute silence was observed for the victims.

On the occasion, Bishop of Peshawar Humphrey Sarfaraz Peters prayed for unity, fraternity, strength and wellbeing of the nation. He said the minorities are enjoying complete freedom in the country. Representatives of Sikh, Hindu and Christians community attended the function.
