Saudi Arabia has assured its strong support to Pakistan for all initiatives aimed at strengthening and reinforcing its post-flood reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts.

The assurance was given by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during a telephonic conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari apprised his Saudi counterpart of the upcoming International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan, being held in Geneva on 9th of next month.

He thanked the Saudi leadership for the valuable flood relief assistance to Pakistan.

Both sides reiterated their mutual commitment to further enhance and deepen bilateral cooperation in diverse sectors.

During the conversation, the situation in Afghanistan was also discussed. Both foreign ministers underscored the importance of guaranteeing women's rights, and their full and equal participation in all aspects of life.
