Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman says media is playing pivotal role for raising issues of society.
He stated this during a meeting with delegation of students of School of Communication Studies led by its Chairperson Prof. Dr. Noshina Saleem at Governor House in Lahore on Tuesday.
The Governor said education is base for progress and development of society. He said educated youth are guarantor of bright future of the country.
The Governor said positive journalism and critique is important for promotion of democracy.
