Pakistan Navy has established four Flood Relief Coordination Centres and six Central Collection Points across the country.

This was said by Commodore Naseem Ahmed while participating in Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs program Lahore Insight. Lieutenant Commander Hina Mujeeb Alam also accompanied him.

Commodore Naseem Ahmad said so far Pak-Navy has distributed 1,127 tons of ration, 2,532 tents and 419,577 litters of mineral water in various flood affected districts.

He said two tent cities have also been established where 807 families have been accommodated.

To a question Lieutenant Commander Hina Mujeeb Alam said Pakistan Navy's 23 Emergency Response teams deployed in 10 districts have rescued 12,476 stranded people.
