Paris: Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, held a meeting with Deputy Director General of the Treasury Claire Cheremetinski at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris. The meeting focused on enhancing economic and trade relations between Pakistan and France.

According to Radio Pakistan, Zahra and Cheremetinski discussed the potential and opportunities for bilateral trade and investment. They highlighted the importance of promoting joint initiatives and engaging the business communities of both nations.

The meeting also covered discussions on Pakistan-EU economic ties, the GSP Plus arrangement, and the significance of strengthening the multilateral trading system and cooperation within the WTO framework. Both parties exchanged views on economic and fiscal reforms in Pakistan.
