Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Human Rights and Women Empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick has termed promotion of inter-faith harmony in the country as the topmost priority of the government. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad today, she praised consultative committee of Inter-faith harmony for its valuable contributions to end hatred and prejudice, and promotion of love, peace and brotherhood in the country. Alluding to the steps taken for the betterment of minorities in the country, she said inter-faith committees are being established at district level and job quotas are being reserved to ensure the economic empowerment of minorities in the country. Mushaal Mullick said worship places of minority communities are being renovated in the country. She announced to inaugurate one church each in Mirpur and Muzaffarabad. Quoting the speech of Founding Father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on 11th August 1947, she said that Quaid-e-Azam was the ardent supporter of equality of people regardles s of their faith, cast, colour and creed.
