National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued an advisory for general public to adopt safeguard measures keeping in view the scorching heat during summer season.

In this regard, the Authority tweeted a sticker on its twitter handle, inscribing the precautionary measures to tackle the blistering summer.

It asked the general public to avoid outside activities during the hottest time of day, cover head and wear sunglasses. The NDMA further advised the people to avoid fizzy drinks and keep water bottles with themselves.

The Authority warned that heat wave could be fatal so adoptions of precautionary measures issued by the relevant authorities are unavoidable for safety.
