Palestinian PM Hamdallah survives assassination attempt in Gaza

Gaza Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Head of the General Intelligence Service Majid Faraj survived an assassination attempt after their convoy entered the Beit Hanoun crossing in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the bomb attack on the last two vehicles of the prime minister's convoy resulted in the injury of seven people, where the perpetrators targeted the convoy by shooting after the bombing.

The Fatah movement condemned targeting the convoy of Hamdallah and Faraj upon their arrival in the Gaza Strip, saying that what has happened requires concerted national efforts to address such criminal attempts.
