Pakistan Cricket Board has decided not to take action against Muhammad Hafeez on his criticism to the ICC's protocols in the biomechanics procedure of testing bowling actions.
Accepting the explanation of Pakistan all-rounder, the three-member disciplinary committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board decided not to take any action against the cricketer.
Hafeez, who was cleared last month by the ICC to bowl after being called for the third time for his suspect bowling action, had expressed reservations over the rules of the ICC set for the biomechanics test.
The committee comprised director cricket operations Haroon Rasheed, director media Amjad Hussain and GM Legal Salman Naseer.
Meanwhile, Hafeez in his statement said, his intention was not to criticise ICC protocols nor did he mention any respected cricket board in his interview.
