President Abbas discusses peace efforts with US envoy

Ramallah (IINA) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and US Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt discussed here on Thursday efforts to move the Palestinian-Israeli peace process forward.

During the meeting, Abbas affirmed his absolute rejection of Israel's settlement activities as well as its provocative and inciting acts such as passing laws that perpetuate the occupation and prevent the realization of the two-state solution with a goal to obstruct and sabotage US peacemaking efforts.

The meeting was also attended by US Consul General in Jerusalem Donald Blome, according to Palestinian News Agency WAFA.
