President, PM Condemn Khuzdar Bus Attack


Khuzdar: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned a cowardly attack by Indian terrorist proxies on a school bus in the Khuzdar area of Balochistan. In their separate statements, they expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of three innocent students and two teachers in this terrorist attack, and also condoled with the bereaved families.



According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari stated that attacks on innocent school-going children are heinous and crimes against humanity. He accused India of supporting terrorists against Pakistan and emphasized that the government would completely crush the terrorists being supported by India. He further mentioned that the government would expose the Indian-backed terrorism in Pakistan at the global level.



Asif Ali Zardari described terrorists as enemies of education, humanity, and the development and prosperity of the Balochistan province. He said that terrorists do not want to see the development of Balochistan. The President also prayed for the elevation of ranks of the martyrs and the grant of patience to the bereaved families.



In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his sympathy with the parents of the children and directed authorities to immediately identify those responsible and bring them to justice. He also instructed the provision of immediate medical assistance to the injured in the incident on a priority basis.



Shehbaz Sharif remarked that the attack on innocent children on a school bus by terrorists working under Indian patronage is clear proof of their animosity towards education in Balochistan. He stated that the terrorists have crossed all limits of barbarism by attacking a school bus.



The Prime Minister expressed the resolve that the terrorists, nurtured under Indian patronage, will be brought to justice, and no effort will be spared to foil the nefarious designs of these Indian-backed terrorists to disrupt the peace of Balochistan. He affirmed that the entire nation, including himself, expresses solidarity with the heirs of the students targeted by the terrorists. He also highlighted that the security forces and the government of Pakistan are committed and united to completely stamp out terrorism from the country.
