National Highway Authority says the restoration work of the roads affected by recent rains and floods is going on vigorously by utilizing all available resources.

In a press release on Tuesday, it said the work of removing the standing flood water and destroying the weeds on Gujarat Bypass and Eastern Bypass Lahore is in progress.

The restoration work of Lunda Bridge in Balochistan has been completed and opened for traffic. Traffic on Hasan Abdal-Tha Kot and Mansehra-Getty Das sections is continuing as normal.

Traffic on Quetta, Nushki, Nokundi, Zhob, Sibi and Laura Lai highways is continuing as usual.

Minister for Communications and Postal Services Asaad Mahmood is personally supervising the restoration work of the areas affected by the rains and flood lanes.
