Russia,Turkey and Iran have emphasized on the territorial integrity of Syria and continuity of joint efforts to decrease violence in the field.
This was stated in a joint statement after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Sergei Lavrov of Russia and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu held a meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan today.
The meeting discussed situation in war-torn Syria particularly efforts for resumption of peace talks and the dire humanitarian situation in Eastern Ghouta.
Later addrfessing a Joint News Conference, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu underlined the need to differ terrorists from civilians.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said Tehran viewed the Astana process as the only successful step to stop the war in Syria. The meeting of three Foreign ministers will also lay ground for a summit involving the presidents of the three countries in Istanbul on 4th of next month.
