Saudi crown prince to begin Egypt visit today

Cairo Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will start Sunday a three-day visit to Egypt to meet President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, in his first foreign trip since becoming crown prince last year.

The two sides will discuss aspects of bilateral cooperation and means of strengthening them in various fields. They will also discuss ways to enhance the relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

From Cairo, the Saudi crown prince will travel to the United Kingdom on March 7 and to the United States on March 19. Egypt visit comes weeks ahead of the presidential poll scheduled for March 26-28, in which Sisi is seeking a second term.
