In Spain, a new pro-European Union government was sworn in by King Felipe VI, at Zarzuela palace near Madrid today (Thursday).
The new cabinet of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez includes eleven women and six male ministers.
It makes Spain the second European government with most women ministers after Sweden's, which has twelve female and eleven male ministers.
Sanchez's Socialist Party holds just eighty four seats in the 350-seat congress.
Sanchez ousted conservative Mariano Rajoy as prime minister last Friday in a no-confidence vote.
