The United States has vowed to continue to be a stalwart partner of Pakistan in the face of horrific terrorist incidents.
At his regular news briefing in Washington, US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said Pakistan is an important partner of the United States, and a partner in a number of ways.
He said we have talked in recent days about our commitment to stand with Pakistan in the face of these security threats.
Referring to the terrorist attack at a mosque in Peshawar, the State Department spokesperson said we condemn this incident with utmost vociferousness as it resulted in deaths of scores of innocent civilians as well as public servants who had dedicated their lives to protecting their fellow Pakistani citizens.
