Work on construction of BRT in Peshawar to be completed next month

Punjab Minister for Forests Muhammad Sibtain Khan has said that five hundred million trees will be planted throughout the province during the next four years.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Plant for Pakistan campaign at Balloki near Sheikhupura on Saturday, he said that a massive plantation campaign will be launched in the province to eliminate pollution.

He said forests play an important role in curbing pollution but unfortunately no considerable attention was paid towards the elimination of pollution by the previous governments.
