Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed gratitude to the world leaders, who felicitated him on his re-election as the Prime Minister. In a series of posts on the social media platform X, he extended sincere gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for his message of felicitations on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan. Shehbaz Sharif expressed the desire to forging stronger Pakistan-Russia ties in the days ahead. He also thanked Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Zhaparov for the congratulatory letter on his assumption of the office of Prime Minister of Pakistan. Shehbaz Sharif expressed hope to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries and work closely in multilateral settings, particularly the Economic Cooperation Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Additionally, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for his kind letter of greetings on his election. He assured him of Pakistan's unwavering commitment and support for the ju st struggle of the Palestinian people. He prayed may the holy month of Ramadan bring peace and an end to violence and suffering in Gaza. The Prime Minister extended his thanks to Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon for always being a sincere friend of Pakistan. He said he looks forward to building stronger Pakistan- Tajikistan ties together.
