The Government of South Korea has handed over the first batch of urgently needed relief items to Sindh government in Karachi.

Speaking on the occasion, Korean ambassador Suh Sangpyo said the shipment is consisted of approximately 300,000 water purification tablets, 30,000 emergency blankets, and various other essential relief items.

He said second shipment of relief items consisting of tents, collapsible water bags, and thermal blankets will be docked at Karachi Sea Port up to October 16.
