Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan says the government has decided to expedite action against the elements involved in illegal immigration and human trafficking from Pakistan to Turkey.

He was talking to the outgoing Turkish Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdogul, who paid a farewell call on him in Islamabad on Friday.

The Interior Minister said administrative and technical modalities have already been finalized in this regard and FIA, NADRA and Turkish immigration department are devising a joint strategy to tackle this issue.

He said action against the human traffickers is imperative as these elements earn a bad name for their country.

Rana Sanaullah said Turkey is Pakistan's best friend and brotherly Islamic country and has always helped us in hour of need.

He said the recent visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation to Turkey will have far-reaching impact on further strengthening relations between the two countries.
